Fractional C.O.O.
I’ve been blogging since 2009, which makes me an OG grandma blogger, grey hair & all. I’ve run multiple full-time sites and have had 4 of my larger blogs acquired over the years. I’ll walk you through each one below.
Pink Pop Party is a food & party blog that I just started this year. I missed the creative outlet of vibrantly fun party food content. The site is at the beginning, but I can already tell it’s going to be a long-time favorite.
Tattoo Glee was the most fun site I’ve ever grown. It filled a huge hole in the market at the time for aesthetic Tattoo Designs from a female-friendly perspective. At its height, this site saw over 700,000 MPV. I was proud to build a platform partnered with artists where women could feel empowered by body art.
I started the Momma Teen site right as the world shut down and my kids were entering junior high. It was a place to chronicle ideas and inspiration for a new stage of life. Through this brand, I launched my first line of digital, printable parenting products that are still serving families today, even as we are now preparing to be empty nesters.
Darling Quote was a combination blog and product site that scaled quickly with quote-based content, direct-to-consumer sales of quotable poster prints, and a kitschy quote of the day service.
This was my baby site, my biggest site, and for 10 years, the full volume of my online work portfolio. Highlights included crossing the million pageview a month mark, partnering with dream brands for collaborations, launching my first product designs, authoring 3 books, and growing a community of over 100K social followers (way back before it was what everyone did). This site made me who I am today. Read on for more of the story.
