We’ve all heard the statements against the boemeth that is Amazon and Bezos’s 200+ billion-dollar net worth. You might be one of those people who talk about Amazon as if it’s this one guy’s huge store that owns everything, and we all hate it. For example, when someone asks you where to get a pretty vase, you might say it’s from Amazon. However, this is not the full story.
Amazon, as a platform, comprises thousands of small businesses, like mine! They open shop on the platform, much like a store would open shop in a mall. In fact, over 500,000 US-based small businesses sold on the platform in 2025. Those 500,000 businesses employ over 2 million people in the USA alone.

In my opinion, Amazon is the best platform for a new e-commerce business to launch products on. It is where I personally launched 3 e-commerce brands, and I can attest that much of my success has come from the opportunities, training, and support this platform provides. From a digital entrepreneur’s perspective, launching my products first on Amazon has allowed me to grow that side of my business, while maintaining the other elements like content production and social connections that fuel my brand.
10 Reasons To Consider Selling On Amazon
Here are 10 compelling reasons to consider it today.
1. Tech Ease
The platform handles all tech, making product & brand launches easy for non-tech entrepreneurs.
2. Traffic
Their traffic is unmatched in terms of both amount and intent. This gives me an immediate audience to test market fit with. Amazon boasts over 2.5 billion monthly page views! As a blogger who has worked hard for years to achieve sites with over 1 million page views per month, this number is astounding. You would never match it, no matter how large your brand is.
3. Reviews
Amazon has a robust review program (including Vine for new products), which allows me, as an owner, to hear from customers fast to make early adaptations to our products. We hear directly from customers at the outset what they love and what I might need to adjust to scale our offerings.
4. Logistics
The best and most integrated affordable logistics service. The simplicity of Amazon’s logistics enables first-time entrepreneurs to focus on product creation and marketing rather than shipping and inventory. I never wanted to run a warehouse, and with Amazon, I don’t have to! They also ship my products at a lower rate than any local shipping service. Plus, with their Multi-Channel Fulfillment services, your products can be listed on multiple platforms, including Walmart, Shopify, and TikTok Shop, while still being fulfilled by Amazon.
5. Training
There is so much available training and easy-to-use software for starting and scaling on Amazon. I learned years ago through Helium10’s Freedom Ticket, and there are many other options that offer similar, affordable training programs.

6. App Integrations
New platform growth made possible with MCF app integrations – Walmart, TikTok Shop, Shopify, and Whole Foods. One of my favorite things about the Amazon platform is how seamlessly it integrates into the broader e-commerce ecosystem. I can use my Amazon-branded platform to allow growth in other marketplaces. With features such as synced inventory, fulfillment, and product advertising. Allowing my brand to be well-rounded while remaining easy for me to run.
7. Customer Support
Built-in customer service and a high level of customer trust remove barriers to new business. When starting a new business or online shop, you have to work hard to earn customers’ trust. It’s a big deal for someone to put their credit card details into your website. If they are ever unhappy, it is your responsibility to handle returns, customer service issues, and tracking lost packages. Amazon’s platform fee includes a service that handles all of this for me, freeing me to grow my brand rather than deal with issues. Plus, the Amazon trust factor is worth its weight in gold.
8. Influencer Connections
The Amazon influencer program makes connecting with influencers and marketers compelling for both parties. Something recenbtly newer to the Amazon platform is their influencer program. Using the program, I have connected my brand with influencers eager to promote my products on Amazon and other platforms. This has been HUGE for my brand growth over the past year.
9. Powerful Analytics
Amazon brand analytics make understanding customers and launching new products intuitive. Although one of the biggest downsides of launching on Amazon is the inability to access my exact customer data, they do, however, excel at providing strong analytics for my brand as a whole. I can know every detail about my customers, their spending habits, and the products they search for most.
10. Content Creation
Lastly, the platform’s ease of use makes creating listings, images, and integrating AI seamless, which gives us a quick product to market launch system that is always consistent and looks great.
If you have a new product idea, now is the time to launch, and I highly recommend evaluating the Amazon platform to determine whether it is the right fit for your product.
